Today I got a dirty look from a “lady” after I opened the door for her. I think she was actually offended!
If a am opens a door for you, don’t get offended. By opening the door for you he is not implying you are weak - it is a sign of respect for a lady.
Honestly, there are times when I am holding a door open for a “lady” or “ladies” when I really wish I could lock them out. But, my up bringing says I have to treat women as “ladies” regardless of their social status, their appearance or manners.
Please, the next time someone opens a door for you treat that as a sign of courtesy.
